LAND BANK/FWAC ANNOUNCE NEWLY RENOVATED HOME

The Broome County Land Bank and First Ward Action Council announced the completion and availability of 33 Linden Street on the City of Binghamton's North Side. The home is available for purchase through the Land Bank's Affordable Homes Program for $95,000. Interested buyers must meet income and affordability guidelines to qualify.

Bids Due: October 7, 2022 CONTRACT #1 - Asbestos and Lead-Based Paint Abatement at 313 Marion Street, Vestal, NY 13850 (Town of Vestal) CONTRACT #2 - Asbestos and Lead-Based Paint Abatement at 1593 Oakdale Road, Johnson City, NY 13790 (Town of Maine) Sealed bids will be received by the Owner for asbestos and lead-based paint abatement. Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 PM, October 7th, 2022 at the Broome County Land Bank Corporation, 60 Hawley Street, 5th Floor, Binghamton, New York 13901, at which time all bids will be opened and read aloud. The Broome County Land Bank reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to award both contracts in the best interests of the Broome County Land Bank. The Broome County Land Bank is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer. Section 3 Residents, Section 3 Businesses, Minority Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses, and Labor Surplus Area Firms are encouraged to submit proposals.
