Broome County Land Bank Seeks Proposals for Purchase of Endicott Property
Endicott, NY – The Broome County Land Bank Corporation issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the purchase of 119 Oak Hill Avenue in the Village of Endicott. The previous dilapidated structure was recently demolished as part of the Land Bank’s County-Wide Demolition Program funded by the New State Attorney General’s Office, Enterprise Community Partners, Inc., and Broome County Government.
“During our recent round of demolitions, 119 Oak Hill Avenue generated unprecedented interest through our Side Lot Program with several interested parties contacting us about the future disposition of the property,” said Jessica Haas, Executive Director of the Broome County Land Bank Corporation. “A decision made by the Land Bank Board of Directors, we are issuing an RFP for the purchase of the property. Any individual, group, or entity interested in the property will have an opportunity to submit a proposal for review by Land Bank staff and the Board of Directors. As expressed previously, I am confident that the Land Bank will select a purchaser in the best interests of our mission.”
The deadline for questions associated with the RFP is July 26, 2023 at 4:00 PM and the deadline for submission of proposals is August 2, 2023 at 4:00 PM. A copy of the RFP can be found on the Land Bank’s website at https://broomelandbank.org/bids, or through Empire State Purchasing Group (https://www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york).
